The blade is clay tempered, revealing a distinctive Sanbonsugi hamonâa rhythmic pattern of repeating peaks that reflects measured heat application and precise edge control. In motion, the blade tracks smoothly, favoring stability and timing over raw aggression.
The koshirae is fitted with a blackened iron tsuba featuring Nine Syllable openwork, evoking protection, order, and ritual continuity.
